Airbnb.org “Home Lives On”

“Home Lives On” tells the story of real climate disaster evacuees finding comfort and safety through Airbnb.org stays.
Through the telling of these stories we focus on what home can mean after everything is lost. A place for birthday celebrations, a homemade meal, bathtime, and a sense of normalcy.

This film was shot in LA just months after the LA wildfires in January of 2025. Most of the crew had been personally affected by the disaster, having relocated or lost their homes. This was passion project for everyone involved, serving as a place to come together and heal.

Directed by: Christian Loubek. Made with Daniel Barak and Katie Edmondson
